Sailor Dog: Maitreya (a.k.a. "Mai Tai")

I'm a short, dark and handsome Scottish Terrier who left the forests of the Hudson River Valley in New York for a life of high adventure on the sea. I'm currently cruising with Ruth and Gary in the Bahamas and the Caribbean, and I'm obsessed with chasing lizards on island beaches.

My ambition is to boldly go on islands where no Scottie has gone before. I've boldly gone on many islands already, and since I've marked them, they're mine, right?

My favorite things include chasing lizards, sitting on deck with the ocean breeze blowing through my soft jet black fur, chasing lizards, rolling in the sand, chasing lizards, romping on the beach and splashing in the ocean, and oh, did I mention the lizards?

Ruth often calls me a “cuddle muffin”. I'm not sure what that means, but I really do love hanging out with my pet people.
