Before cruising away on Lakshmi, I had a high pressure job as a computer project manager in New York City. It wasn't a bad way to make a living, and New York is a great city, but after spending 20 years building and managing computer projects, it was time for something different.

I can't afford to retire yet, and wouldn't really want to, so I'm making a career change. I'm now a writer and filmmaker. Film Producer actually, with several projects in various stages of completion. One of my projects is filming this trip and making it available as a DVD to inspire others to go and have adventures too. We're just ordinary people who decided to go on an extraordinary adventure. If you see the DVD or read the book, perhaps you'll realize you could do something extraordinary too. After all, if we did it, how hard could it be?

I was born in Los Angeles, so I guess it was inevitable that I would eventually get into the movie business. I got a dual major Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Kansas, then a Juris Doctor degree from U.S.C. After practicing law for a couple of years in Beverly Hills, I decided that I would rather have a career in computers. So I made a career change and became a computer programmer. From there I became a database administrator, then a computer project manager. Now it's time for a transition into the arts. The book “Happy and Free in the Caribbean©” should be out sometime in the near future. And stay tuned for the movie version of “Happy and Free in the Caribbean©”, coming soon to a theater near you!
